Hunt Schedule:

   All Day Hunts . . . 8:30 a.m. -  5:00 p.m.

   Morning Hunts . .  8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

   Afternoon Hunts . 1:00 p.m. -  5:00 p.m.

Half Day Hunts = 4 bird per shooter minimum

Full Day Hunts  = 8 bird per shooter minimum

Guide Dogs & Handlers: We have flushing and pointing dogs available. Our dogs and their handlers guarantee you will see your birds. Our handlers do not carry guns during your hunt.

Bird Cleaning:

                 $2.00 each. Available on weekends.

  Birds cleaned are the birds you harvest during your hunt that day. We mechanically process and package all of your harvest with skin intact. You get extremely fresh, never frozen game of gourmet quality that is perfect for grilling, smoking or roasting.

European Hunt Pricing:

    Per shooter: $225.00

An all inclusive day at The Ringneck Ranch LLC in Hanover, Michigan includes the following:

•    15 shooting stations to accomodate 15 to 30 shooters
•    10 pheasants; 50/50 mix hens and roosters released per shooter
•    A.M. coffee and locally just baked that morning pastries
•    Shot-Lodge steak fry luncheon consists of thick cut New York Strip steak, baked potato, tossed salad, warm bread, seasonal desserts and beverages
•    Traditional style walk-up hunt in the afternoon to find the ones that got away that morning
•    Birds processed, bagged and divided equally among participants ready for your ice filled cooler.

Rules & Regulations

• All shooters are required to use steel shot, using #4 loads or smaller    
• Lead Shot or Magnum loads are not permitted
• All hunters are required to register their name, address, Michigan Small Game or Shooting Preserve License prior to proceeding to the field.
• No consumption of alcohol prior to, or during the hunt.
• Dogs must be under strict control of their handlers and kept clear of the gamebird pen area at all times.
• Birds shall not be shot while on the ground. Dogs will retrieve any "downed" birds.
• All vehicles must be parked in designated areas.
• Hunters must stay in their assigned area and on the property. 
• All hunters must wear a "Hunters Blaze Orange" cap or vest.
• Hunters participating in European hunts are required to wear eye protection. Ear protection is recommended.
